The International Language Academy was established in 1995 as part of the largest corporation in the sphere of private education in Great Britain. Nord Anglia Educational Group was founded in 1972  unifying  15 educational ILA centres in 6 countries. The ILA Schools in Great Britain are members of the ARELS Association. In August 2001 ILA separated from Nord Anglia, and is currently an independent company that provides foreign language education at a professional level.

 ILA «Aspect» is the International Language Academy subdivision that is engaged in children’s programmes within Russia and abroad. Its services are represented by a British kindergarten, a British school, the “Humpty-Dumpty” Early Learning Centre and a summer session.

 ILA «Aspect» works with the best private boarding and secondary schools in Great Britain, summer camps abroad and all year round language centres in such countries as USA, England, Canada and Switzerland. 

             The main target of ILA «Aspect» is to provide Russian children and foreign citizens’ children living in Saint-Petersburg with an opportunity to receive an education similar to that found in British primary and secondary schools. The British system of education encourages creative and personal development. The process of developing a child’s individuality begins at the earliest stages. 

             The British kindergarten is oriented towards mentoring communication skills in children,  making them feel at ease in any environment. ILA «Aspect» accepts children from 2 years old, based on the principle that the earlier the adaptation process starts, the more successful the child will become. The educational system is designed to assist children in their transition from the parents’ guardianship to the classmates’ world.

             Experienced British teachers work in the ILA «Aspect» nursery. They, along with their Russian co-workers, will not only prepare your child for entering Western or Russian schools, but also teach your child to communicate effectively in an international environment, where English is the  language of  communication.
